Grunge
Grunge style is a subculture that emerged in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States in the mid-1980s. The style was born out of the punk and alternative rock movements and is characterized by a disheveled, unkempt appearance that is often associated with a lack of concern for conventional fashion.
Grunge style is typically characterized by its use of flannel shirts, ripped jeans, combat boots, and leather jackets. The clothing is often layered, with multiple shirts worn over one another, and accessories are minimal.
